Why we started
Maison Provenance started with a bad shopping experience. Mine.
Every time I went looking for extensions, I ran into the same tricks. Bundles marketed as "raw" that clearly weren't. Listings showing off how thick a bundle looked, with no weight ever disclosed, so there was no way to know what I was actually paying for. Textures labeled with whatever term sounded best that week, no mention of what was actually done to the hair to get it there.
None of it was information. It was theater.
I wanted the opposite: hair that tells you exactly where it came from, exactly how much you're getting, and exactly what was or wasn't done to it. Every origin named, every weight listed, every texture explained, so the next buyer doesn't have to learn the hard way, the way I did.
